Modern and Regular Oral Hygiene – Saves Your Time on Treatment.

The health of your teeth and mouth significantly impacts your overall well-being. In our fast-paced lives, we often neglect or improperly perform daily dental hygiene due to insufficient time.

This lack of proper care can lead to various issues, requiring professional dental intervention.

Professional Oral Hygiene is a crucial preventive and therapeutic measure for various dental and gum diseases. This procedure helps prevent bad breath, stained teeth, bleeding gums, infections, tooth decay, and other oral health issues.

Professional oral hygiene is the essential first step before undergoing any dental procedures such as therapeutic treatments, teeth whitening, surgery, or prosthetics. For individuals with implants, braces, aligners, or dentures, maintaining proper and timely oral hygiene is especially critical.

The procedure includes:

Removing hard and soft plaque and microorganisms from the teeth surfaces and periodontal pockets using an ultrasonic scaler and manual instruments.

Eliminating pigmented stains from the teeth.

Polishing the teeth with special brushes, polishes, and polishing paste.

Applying mineral or therapeutic substances if necessary;

Providing or reinforcing guidance on correct dental care techniques;

Offering personalised recommendations for toothpaste, mouthwash, or other care products as needed.

Conducting a general check-up of the oral condition and providing further recommendations.

Procedure Duration:  45–60min

Frequency of the Procedure:

It is recommended to undergo professional oral hygiene 1-2 times per year.

The frequency depends on individual characteristics, clinical situation, hygiene habits, and the tendency to accumulate dental calculus.

Post-Procedure Guidelines:

Eating: It is advisable not to eat for one hour after the procedure. If anesthesia was used, avoid eating until the numbness subsides. On the day of the procedure, steer clear of staining foods (such as beets, coffee, red wine, etc.). If fluoride application was performed, avoid dairy products for 24 hours.

Smoking: Refrain from smoking for 24 hours after the procedure.

Sensitivity: Teeth and gums may be more sensitive for a few days post-procedure and may bleed slightly when brushed.
