Frequency of the Procedure:
It is recommended to undergo professional oral hygiene 1-2 times per year.
The frequency depends on individual characteristics, clinical situation, hygiene habits, and the tendency to accumulate dental calculus.
Post-Procedure Guidelines:
Eating: It is advisable not to eat for one hour after the procedure. If anesthesia was used, avoid eating until the numbness subsides. On the day of the procedure, steer clear of staining foods (such as beets, coffee, red wine, etc.). If fluoride application was performed, avoid dairy products for 24 hours.
Smoking: Refrain from smoking for 24 hours after the procedure.
